- Marcia Boumil, MA, J.D., LL.M
Marcia M. Boumil, MA, JD, LL.M has been a member of the faculty at Tufts University School of Medicine, Department of Public Health and Family Medicine, for nearly 25 years. She teaches in the field of law, policy and ethics. She is also the Director of a Dual JD/MPH Program between Tufts and Northeastern University School of Law. As part of Professor Boumil’s professional responsibilities at Tufts, she directs the Tufts ‘ Comprehensive Family Evaluation Center which provides Guardian ad litem and other court-ordered evaluations for children and families involved with the court system. Professor Boumil is the author of 11 books, primarily texts, and numerous articles in the fields of health law, mental health and family issues.
- Joel Friedman, Ph.D.
Joel Friedman, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist and Health Service Provider in Massachusetts. As an Assistant clinical Professor of Psychology, Dr. Friedman served on the teaching faculty of the Harvard Medical School and the Massachusetts General Hospital for thirty five years. He has also held appointments at several other Massachusetts hospitals and universities. He served as President of Bay State Psychological Associates for nine years. He has co-authored six books and a videotape concept related to legal, psychological and gender issues. He has been an invited speaker at many colleges and universities. Dr. Friedman maintains a clinical practice in Brookline Massachusetts.
